What is "Permanent Jewelry"?

We custom fit a chain to your wrist, neck, ankle or finger.  We then use a welder for an easy and painless process.  Instead of using a clasp we use a tiny jump ring to connect and weld the two ends of the chain, turning it into a "permanent" piece of jewelry.

Does it hurt?

Accepted Answer

No pain is involved.  All you will feel is the joy of having your new permanent piece of jewelry.

Do I need an appointment to get linked?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we work through appointments.  A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to schedule your appointment.  The deposit will be applied towards your total on the day of your appointment as long as you don't cancel within 48hrs and show up to your appointment.  If an appointment is missed or canceled less than 48hrs of your scheduled time, you will forfeit the deposit.

*Also, note that all repair or re-weld appointments should be scheduled through us directly.  Do not schedule an appointment through our booking page.  Message us directly for repair and re-weld appointments.

How long does it take?

Each appointment is 30 minutes and is good for up to 2 people or up to 3 pieces.  We kindly ask that you arrive on time as this will give us enough time to sanitize, select chain, custom fit, and the link on your new favorite piece.

Question 5

How many people can you see under one appointment?

Accepted Answer

We are able to see up to 3 people with 3 simple pieces within the 30 minute appointment time or 1 to 2 people with multiple pieces or special designed charms.

How many pieces can I get with one appointment?

Accepted Answer

We can weld up to 3 simple pieces on 3 people, or 1 to 2 people on more complicated designs.  Please reserve another appointment slot if you feel you need more time.

What materials do you use?

We offer options in gold filled, sterling silver and Rose Gold.

What are the prices?

Accepted Answer

Gold filled and Sterling Silver range between $60 - $80 for a bracelet.

Anklets range between $70 - $90

Necklaces up to 16" range between $90 - $110.  (Additional length $10 an Inch)

Ring $25

Charms $15-$25

Clasp $15

Belly Chain $$6-10 an Inch

Re-weld / Repair $15 - $25 (Fee can be waived with new purchase)

*Kids 12 and under get a free upgrade

We rotate our chain styles and they vary based on availability on the day of your appointment.  We have a large assortment of chains for you to choose from and will surely be able to find one that you love.

Question 9

What if I need to remove the bracelet?

Accepted Answer

You can simply cut the jump ring used to weld the chain together with a nail clipper or sharp scissors.  Save it all in a safe place to be re-welded at one of our future events.

Question 10

What if I need to get an x-ray or MRI?

Accepted Answer

We recommend that you speak with your doctor and ask if you will need to remove your permanent jewelry during your x-ray or MRI appointment.

Many of our clients have not been required to remove their permanent jewelry but that is up to the discretion of your doctor.

If you are required to remove your permanent jewelry, simply cut the jump ring and store everything including the jump ring in a zip-lock bag.  We will gladly re-weld it on you for our $15 service fee at any of our future events.  Just send us a message when you are ready to re-weld your piece back on.

Question 11

Do you offer repairs or adjustments?

Repairs and re-welds of Studio V pieces only, with exceptions on repairs for pieces not done through Studio V.

When exceptions are made, repairs start at $25 for re-welds on other peoples work (work done by another company besides studio v) on a case by case basis. We are not a jewelry repair company. .

Question 12

What happens if it breaks or gets lost?

We ensure your piece is fully welded on you and there are no issues with the chain on the day of your appointment.

If enough pressure is applied to the chain or if it gets caught somewhere, the chain can break.

Get in touch with us if you need a repair.  We will inspect the chain before re-welding it on you and make sure there are no issues with the chain.  Most repairs are $15-25 but if the integrity of the chain has been compromised or if it has overstretched then you will need to purchase a new chain.

We don't offer replacements on lost pieces or chains that are to damaged to repair with a jump ring.  If your piece is lost you will need to purchase a replacement.

Question 13

What if I change my mind after getting linked?

All sales are final, once we custom fit, cut the chain and place it on you for welding.

If after your appointment you need to make your bracelet smaller or switch wrist, you can come in for a re-weld.

If your bracelet is too tight, you can add a charm ti make it bigger.

Question 14

Can you add charms to the bracelet I already customized and linked on me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for certain circumstances.

Certain circumstances for example: If there is a new addition to your family and you would like to add an additional birthstones or letter, or if the birthstone or letter is out of stock during your original appointment and we planned on restocking it, you can arrange with us to add it later.
